TAJ has an Official Website!!!
At long last there is an official website for the TAJ community. Click on the picture below to be taken to the new page where you can find all the information that was otherwise distributed via the monthly ink-and-paper newsletter. There is information about financial matters, about renovations and repairs, links to previous newsletters, a calendar of events, and some contact information. The site provides some great pictures of the community, too. Overall, the website is very well organized and looks sharp.
WELL DONE to those that made this happen!

TAJ Sentinel, June 2009
Pictured below are the six pages of a flyer that was sent out by the office on behalf of the Board of Directors. I was not able to achieve a high quality scan of the document and so some of any blame for lack of aesthetic quality is mine. Click on the pages to enlarge them for reading.
For clarification, I had no part in this newsletter/flyer. I have published a newsletter in the past, both for the Board of Directors when I was the President and then also as a concerned owner when I published independently with my own money and delivered them myself. My newsletters are unmistakably marked with multiple citations and by-lines. Since the newsletter pictured below has only one by-line and no other discernible citation, I offer this clarification so as to avoid any confusion about the flyer's authorship.

No Communication: submitted by Jay Stahl, unit owner
Has anyone noticed the total lack of information and communication coming forth from our Association for the past several months? Does anyone care?
Well, there are several of us here at TAJ who do care. Remember the monthly newsletters? We haven't had one since Steve Frahm left the Board last March!
Remember the website? Our community website hasn't been updated since May 22, 2007, the date that I, as your webmaster, resigned from any further involvement. My reason at the time was because the website had become stagnant from lack of information. I tried to keep it current by posting any information I could gather, such as minutes and other info. After I resigned, the Board took up the issue for awhile, going so far as considering an online company to maintain the website at a cost of about 49 dollars a month of your money. My argument to this plan was that with no incoming information, the "new" website would also become stagnant. I maintained the website for four years at no cost to the community.
Going a bit further, everyone here at TAJ has been told that all of our Board members can be contacted, via the website, using the links on the site. Because no one has maintained anything to do with the website since last May, most of the Board's mailboxes are full and will not accept anymore mail.
Our present regime, it seems, has no interest in keeping our residents fully informed as to the goings on within our community. We have elections coming up shortly. Just remember who does communicate with us and who doesn't.

PS from Steve Frahm: I have posted what I think are the email addresses of the members of the Board of Directors. Look in the column on the left for those addresses.
