An Open-Letter Submitted By A Past Employee
[The following open-letter was submitted by its author to the BOD and several other members of the TAJ community, the TAJ attorney, the TAJ accounting firm, and a TAJ construction vendor. It is being posted without significant changes. The accuracy of the statements in the letter has not been verified and the content represents its author's views and not necessarily that of this blog's administrator.]
To the Board of Directors,
Please be advised that due to the abrupt ending of my time at TAJ I was not given the opportunity to fill out my last time sheet. I worked 2 days and had 13 hours vacation and 1 hour sick to use towards my time off for a total of 30 hours at $17 an hour. I expect my last pay to be direct deposited into my bank account no later than April 4th.
In addition I have been told by several people that the current BOD is looking to garnish my last check for the total amount of $209 for the CAM course paid by TAJ. Please be advised that I DID NO SIGN ANY document authorizing the garnishment of my check, nor was I advised by anyone on the BOD. Although there was discussion of how I would reimburse if needed, it was never finalized and agreed on. I did not sign any contract with the BOD nor did I sign a waiver for payment.
I expect full payment for my services or I will contact the Department of Labor.
I am requesting an apology letter from the BOD and Lulama Cooper in regards to the slanderous comments made about me in regards to the following below:
There has been enough harassment, especially form WH, and Yvonne Fabozzi.
I have learned that WH and Yvonne Fabozzi have discussed my salary with other employees during my time of employment and have also discussed my job status and security.
In addition I have been told that WH approached fellow employees about my alleged relationship with Manny Salomon. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Not once did Wendi or Yvonne have the courtesy of discussing any these issues with me. Not only was this accusation false, but also extremely humiliating. And I would not expect my superiors to humiliate me in such a way.
Wendi and Yvonne created a very hostile work environment for me and I feel like I was forced out of the company. I have endured unecessary stress due to their actions.
I have also been accused of recieving $500.00 from JM Construction with each job he was awarded. This accusation is ridiculous and unfounded.
I understand that many of these allegations initially come from Lulama Cooper. I understand that by her feeding false information to the BOD she was able to not only keep her job but also aqcuire a promotion. If TAJ decides to employ such an underhanded person, then I wish them luck.
Finally, unless the BOD and Lulama Cooper can produce any tangible evidence to support any of the allegations above, I will expect my apology letter no later than Monday, March 24th or I will file a complaint against the BOD, the individual persons, and against your insurance.
I am also copying Management Assist so they are aware that if they garnish any of my checks they will also be held legally responsible.

I don’t know about you but I am incensed over the actions of our new BOD!
IS THIS ACCEPTABLE TO YOU???
Next, they fired Bette Ann today…but that isn’t so much the issue but how it was handled! First, upon Lue’s call, John, Wendi and Yvonne came racing to the office (I was almost run over) with the police and demanded that Charlotte and Bette Ann leave. No transition, no new property manager in place, outstanding assessments that need to be billed…What’s more, someone accused Charlotte of having an affair with a BOD member…and now I’ve learned that they are accusing Charlotte of receiving kickbacks from Jim Miles! What other vicious lies and rumors are they spreading? Where’s the proof? They are opening us up to an unbelievable lawsuit.
IS THIS ACCEPTABLE TO YOU???
And now, certain BOD members (John, Yvonne, and Augusta) asked Manny to resign. An individual who has served this association selflessly and who was elected by the unit owners. An individual who could provide stability and ease the transition for a new property manager.
IS THIS ACCEPTABLE TO YOU???
Our new BOD, some of whom ran on a platform of inclusion of homeowners, has told unit owners that they “are not allowed in the office”, cannot voice an opinion, cannot speak at BOD meetings.
IS THIS ACCEPTABLE TO YOU??? IS THIS WHAT WE VOTED FOR???
We must rally the homeowners to attend meetings, to participate, and to be vigilant with this new board. Who is willing to step up to let this BOD know that their actions are UNACCEPTABLE!
