Editor's Note: Why I Have Been Outta Touch

I have been traveling lately and will being doing some more in the near future. A family reunion in Iowa last week, my son's wedding in Utah next week, and a trip to Connecticut after that. In between trips I have managed to acquire excruciatingly painful tooth problems that have resulted in multiple trips to the dentist and the pharmacist. As a result I have either been unavailable, in too much pain, or too stoned on pain meds to do much reporting. I hope to be back in full swing in June.

In the meantime I am happy to post contributions from the community. Don't be shy, send me something in an email that you want posted. Something factual, something opinionated, something critical, something supportive, something entertaining, something funny -- it could be anything.
