March 31st through April 4th is Spring Break for children in the Broward School district. But it is early release on March 27th and no school on Friday March 28th. Add in the weekends and that means our kids will have ten days away from school. (See bottom of left column for the Broward School district calendar)
Ten days of turning off the alarm clock and sleeping late in the morning. Ten days of wearing pajamas all day long. Ten glorious days of video games and Popsicles. Ten days of fighting with Mom about doing chores and watching too much tv.
Or the kids can spend some of those ten days at a City of Plantation spring-break camp. There are a few from which to choose (see http:// www.plantation.org/community/annual-events.html). Pictured to the left is information about the Equestrian Center's offerings.
