Let There Be Light!?

You may notice some orange circles and Xs spray-painted around the neighborhood. Prentis Johnson and Maintenance Assistant Robbie were spotted on Saturday making the rounds and marking the spots where the new light poles will be placed by FPL. According to Johnson, the plan is for more than 150 new lights installed to provide more luminescence than we have had in many years.

But don’t hold your breath. Insiders report that the markings are not for the lighting workers. They are meant to show the TAJ community where the poles will eventually be placed. Over the past four years the FPL lighting project has lurched and stalled and as of now there is still no firm date for the beginning of the project.
